Resource Centre

Every day, wonderful things happen in classrooms. Teachers create amazing environments in which children’s learning flourishes. This does not happen by chance. It takes creative thought, planning and a great deal of time.

Not every lesson is a success. As in many other creative endeavours, mistakes often have to be made in order to hone skills and clarify what is required to enable each child in the class to make progress.

This space ‘The Resource Centre’ has been provided for the sharing of those many successful lessons. Teachers and educators do not have enough hours in the day to come up with ‘one-off’ excellence 24/7. The old adage of re-inventing the wheel comes to mind but why even consider it when there are steering, cog, roulette, bicycle, car and a myriad of other wheels out there to copy!

Each week you are invited to link your idea or lesson via the Linky at the bottom of the post. If you do not know how to post let me know through the comments and I will sort it out for you. During the week, keep visiting the site so that you can see what has been posted that you can share.

Copy the badge code below onto your blog or the post so that others can see where to go for some great ideas. And let’s get sharing the excellence that is in classrooms!

Here are some reflections on the use of an online recording method for the foundation stage profile being trialled with my support in Guernsey schools http://mustardlearning.com/2011/02/11/fsp-online/. I’d love any thoughts or feedback.
